In October we started the process of adopting Brooklin LiJin. After all the paperwork and more paperwork and endless waiting today is the day. I can't believe this day has finally arrived. It is with excitement, worry, anxiety that we go down to meet Kathy, our guide and paperwork liason. She is great. We stopped by the local market to purchase some snacks for LiJin. Brian and Brynlee got their first glimpse of Chinese markets, chicken feet and endless bins of mystery meat. We next to Civil Affairs to meet LiJin. We were a little early so we waited and watched other little girls and babies come in to meet their new families. LiJin walked in and was not so excited to meet us in fact she started crying which got all th other babies and girls crying. I'm sure they loved us for this. This random man came up and took a picture of Brooklin crying, don't ask we don't have a clue why he wanted to do this. We took pictures of us with her orphange director and Mrs Wu. We headed back to the hotel in a downpouroutside and inside the van. We came to the room to work on paperwork and finally Brooklin calmed down and Brynlee began to show her the art of playing with Zoobles. She is very cute we have bathed and fed her and now we are ready for skyping the family. What a great day,
we feel blessed and excited for the future with our new addition to our family.
